Scarlett Johansson spoke with Access Hollywood at the premiere of “The Phoenician Scheme” and spoke about working on the film.
She said when reading the script, she was “touched” by it. “I said to (director) Wes (Anderson), it’s king of ‘The Odyssey’ meets ‘Paper Moon.’ It really feels like this huge journey that a father takes in order to have a second chance with his adult daughter. It’s very moving.”
She also gushed over her husband Colin Jost!
“We like each other. I think that’s the key ingredient. Everybody has their ups and downs but I think the core, if you like the other person and want them to win, then you’re on the right track,” she said.
“The Phoenician Scheme” is in theaters on May 30.
