EXCLUSIVE: NBC is heating up the summer airwaves with its Tuesday night reality competition lineup.

The network’s buzzy new show Destination X has joined the primetime window this season with stalwart series America’s Got Talent, and they’ve been putting up an impressive combined performance. In fact, the series recently laid claim to the No. 1 entertainment night of the summer to-date.

After seven days, America’s Got Talent is the top entertainment series of the summer in total viewers. It is currently on track to mark its 20th consecutive year as the #1 broadcast summer alternative series among total viewers.

Per NBCUniversal, Season 20 of America’s Got Talent has amassed 24M total viewers this summer across NBC and Peacock.

Destination X is off to a promising start, too, as NBC’s No. 1 alternative series launch on Peacock yet based on 26-day average audience viewing. Across both linear and streaming, the new series has already managed 14M viewers to-date.

In particular, Episode 3 of Destination X saw a 52% increase in viewership in the first seven days, likely thanks in part to the introduction of Love Island USA alum JaNa Craig and The Traitors US‘ Peter Weber.

New episodes of both America’s Got Talent and Destination X will air tonight on NBC — both with crossovers from other popular NBCU properties. Beginning with AGT at 8 p.m., a Kentucky truck driver is far from home as he braves the stage, a roller-skating aerial act from Simon’s past attempts to earn his respect and Vanderpump Rules star Tom Sandoval auditions to show the world a different side of him.

On Destination X, with eight players remaining including Craig and Weber, Jeffrey ramps up the game in a fairytale-themed episode where they leave the bus and board a train to the next Destination X. With bluffing in play, morality is tested. Who will stay truthful and who will choose deceit to get ahead?
