
We have the first winners for the 46th annual News & Documentary Emmy Awards. The News categories were in the spotlight Wednesday at the Palladium Times Square in New York City, which also is set to host the Documentary ceremony on Thursday night. See the list of winners thus far below.
The 67 total categories cover programming content that premiered during calendar 2024. Both ceremonies are presented live on the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences’ dedicated viewing platform and streaming at watch.theemmys.tv and Emmy apps starting at 7:30 p.m. ET/4:30 p.m. PT. Today‘s Al Roker received a Lifetime Achievement honor for his career in broadcast journalism during the News ceremony Wednesday. Jon H. Else will receive a lifetime honor at Thursday’s Documentary ceremony for his contributions to documentary filmmaking.
