Move over Ted Lasso, Apple TV+’s newest sports comedy is here.

Stick starring Owen Wilson in the role of Pryce Cahill has landed with its first three episodes now available to watch on the streamer. Created by Jason Keller, the series follows another coach of sorts with a positive mindset.

Stick landed on Apple TV+ June 4.

How many episodes are in Stick? Does Stick launch weekly or all at once?

The first three episodes launched with the show’s premiere. The following seven episodes will arrive weekly on Wednesdays through TK. The full episodic rollout will play out as follows:

Wednesday, June 4: Episodes 1, 2, 3 – “Pilot,” “Grossweiner’s Law” and “Daddy Issues”

Wednesday, June 11: Episode 4 – “Zero Sum Game”

Wednesday, June 18: Episode 5 – “The Birdie Machine”

Wednesday, June 25: Episode 6

Wednesday, July 2: Episode 7

Wednesday, July 9: Episode 8

Wednesday, July 16: Episode 9

Wednesday, July 23: Episode 10 (FINALE)

What is Stick about?

Wilson’s former pro golfer, who is down on his luck as of late, takes a chance on a young man he meets — Peter Dager’s Santiago “Santi” Wheeler — who has the chops to become a pro himself. An underdog’s rise to fame on the green as well as the coming together of a found family results.

Who is in the cast of Stick?

Aside from Wilson and Dager, Marc Maron plays Pryce’s former caddy Mitts, a gruff but good friend to the former pro golfer. Mariana Treviño portrays Santi’s mom Elena, and Lilli Kay plays Zero, who comes into the picture in Episode 3. Judy Greer plays Pryce’s ex-wife Amber-Linn. Timothy Olyphant will also appear.
