A L.A. judge signed off on a six-figure judgment being awarded to Tiffany Haddish after she shut down her ex-friend’s lawsuit, In Touch can exclusively report.

According to court documents obtained by In Touch, on January 10, the Los Angeles Superior Court judge presiding over the lawsuit brought by comedian’s former pal, Trizah Morris, ordered that Tiffany, 45, was owed a total of $111,165.

In addition, the judge said the debt will continue to grow at the rate of $30.46 per day until the full amount is paid off. Comedian Aries Spears was awarded an additional $62,394.20.

His judgment against Trizah will grow by $17.09 per day until settled.

As In Touch first reported, Trizah sued Tiffany and Aries, 49, for defamation in 2023. Trizah’s adult children sued Tiffany and Aries in 2022 claiming the comedians had used them as children in inappropriate comedy sketches.

Tiffany and Aries denied the claims. Tiffany’s lawyer claimed the lawsuit was a shakedown.

A couple of months later, Trizah’s daughter dismissed her lawsuit. In her lawsuit, filed a year later, Trizah claimed that Tiffany and Aries defamed her while defending themselves against her children’s lawsuit. Her lawsuit read, “The statements made against Trizah Morris are malicious, defamatory and slanderous representation of Trizah Morris.”

Trizah’s complaint added, “Aries Spears alleged that Trizah Morris was an extortionist and shakedown artist.”

“Trizah Morris never extorted or attempted to extort Tiffany Haddish and/or Aries Spears,” Trizah’s lawsuit added. During the initial legal battle, Tiffany’s lawyer told TMZ that Trizah had been “trying to asset these bogus claims” for “several years.”

He added, “Every attorney who has initially taken on her case — and there were several — ultimately dropped the matter once it became clear that the claims were meritless and [Tiffany] would not be shaken down. Now, [Trizah] has her adult daughter representing herself in this lawsuit. The two of them will together face the consequences of pursuing this frivolous action.”

In her lawsuit, Trizah said, “Trizah Morris’ name and photograph appeared in blogs and media reports available all over the world as the cunning, conniving, deceitful ‘ex-friend’ of Tiffany Haddish.”

Trizah demanded over a million in damages. In response, Tiffany demanded the entire case be heard out of the public eye and in arbitration.

She claimed Trizah had executed a settlement agreement with her as part of Trizah’s children’s lawsuit. She said the deal resolved all claims between the parties.

Trizah claimed to claim the defamation occurred before the deal was signed, which she believed allowed her to still go after Tiffany. At the arbitration proceeding, Tiffany defeated Trizah’s claims.

The arbitrator determined the 2022 settlement agreement was valid and therefore Trizah had no standing to sue. Tiffany was awarded $95,000 in legal fees and Aries scored $50,000 in fees from Trizah. The judgments have since grown with interest and additional fees.

As In Touch first reported, back in October 2024, a Georgia judge granted Tiffany’s plea to postpone her DUI trial. The trial, which was scheduled for October, has been pushed several times in the past couple of months.

She pleaded not guilty to the charges.
